Procedure for online Application

A) APPROVAL of Drawings for New Installations:

  • 1. For New Users, to register/Signup by Clicking Consumer Login button on the home page of the CEIG website (http://ceigap.in), then signup and fill up the required details. Your email id will be your User ID to login into the CEIG website.

  • 2. A confirmation mail is sent to your registered mail id i.e., user id. Click on the link to confirm your login. Then your user account will be created.

  • 3. Use the created User ID and password to login into the CEIG website.

  • 4. After login, Click on New Installation Approvals button then you can have the option to choose Application for Drawing Approvals and Application for Statutory Certificate as per the requirement.

  • 5. If you Click on Application for Drawing Approvals, then to fill the details of the installation in the application form.

  • 6. Details of Fee payable for approval of drawings will be displayed automatically based on the inputs of Installation.

  • 7. After payment of Fee, then upload the payment receipt in pdf format and click on SAVE button.

  • 8. Then browse and upload the documents/drawings as shown on the next screen.

  • 9. Approving authority will start the process at their end as per the uploaded drawings.

  • 10. To view application status click on My Application Status button after login into CEIG website.

  • 11. After approving the drawings by the competent authority can be viewed /downloaded in My Application Status on-line.


B) STATUTORY APPROVAL for New Installations:

  • 1. For getting Statutory Certificate, drawings approvals must be obtained for New Installations as a prerequisite.

  • 2. Login into the CEIG website (http://ceigap.in) with registered user id, click on New Installation Approvals and then Application for Statutory Certificate.

  • 3. Select the File No. from the dropdown list, then your application details that are filled at the time of drawing approval will be displayed along with Fee payable for inspection.

  • 4. Make payment, upload the Payment receipt and click on submit button.

  • 5. After that on the Next page upload the relevant documents as per the check list, then click on upload button.

  • 6. On receipt of the application request online, the approving authority will intimate the date of inspection online.

  • 7. You can find the date of inspection in My application status in consumer login page.

  • 8. Approving authority will inspect the Installation, there after a Defect notice (if any) will be issued by the authority online. The same can be viewed/downloaded in My application status in consumer login page.

  • 9. Upload and submit compliance report.

  • 10. On receipt of compliance report, the approving authority will issue Statutory Certificate online. The same can be viewed/downloaded in My application status in consumer login page.


C) Comprehensive List of Documents :

  • The following documents shall be submitted wherever required.

    • Form-A

    • Test certificates of :
      • Transformers

      • Isolators

      • Lightning Arresters

      • Current Transformers

      • Potential Transformers

      • EHV Breakers

      • HV / LV Breakers

      • HV cable

    • Load particulars (EHV, HV, MV, LV and Lighting).
      (Describing maker's name, maker's slno., capacity and voltage)

    • No. of towers and type

    • Type and length of Conductor

    • Pre Commissioning test Reports.
